James Harris

James Harris is a Washington State attorney with extensive experience practicing mass torts, product liability and personal injury for almost three decades. James has represented clients in cases against pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, chemical companies, and organizations that have allowed sexual abuse of minors.

James received his Juris Doctor degree from the Seattle University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in Washington State. He has achieved numerous multi million dollar settlements/verdicts for his clients. 

James currently represents thousands of claimants nationwide in the following litigations:

James Humann

James Humann is an experienced trial attorney licensed and admitted to practice in state and federal courts in California and Florida. James passionately represents his clients' interests and has a proven track record for achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

James was born in Tarrytown, New York and was raised on the west coast of Florida. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Florida State University and graduated cum laude from the FSU College of Law. After graduating law school, James joined a respected litigation firm in Tampa, Florida. In 1997, James was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

James is skilled in all aspects of complex civil litigation including mass torts, toxic contamination, sexual abuse, defective products, personal injury, and class actions.

Attorney James Humann brings a unique advantage to our firm. Previously serving as an insurance defense trial lawyer specializing in cases within the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) for a prominent insurance company, James gained invaluable insight into the tactics used by insurance companies to minimize claims. Now, he leverages this experience to fight for those injured by negligence.

Will Coats

Will Coats is an experienced trial lawyer licensed and admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Washington State. He has tried over fifty cases before a jury and has obtained numerous multimillion-dollar results for his clients. Throughout his thirty-year
legal career, Will has sought justice for individuals who have been badly harmed.

Will grew up in Seattle, Washington and graduated with a B.A. from the University of Washington. He attended Tulane Law School in New Orleans, LA where he graduated with honors. Will served as Assistant Attorney General for the Washington State Attorney General’s Office before entering private practice. He was a partner at the firm
Brett, Coats, McCandlis & Brown before opening his own firm. Will joined the James Harris Law firm in 2026 for the opportunity to represent and seek justice for victims of childhood sexual abuse.

Will’s professional experience included having been elected Board Member for the Washington State Association for Justice and serving as Chairman of the Whatcom County Judicial Evaluation Committee.
